Why DSD?

We always conduct our high risk aesthetic facial driven case using the digital smile design, with a few options of treatment after designing any of our cases.

Patient History and Chief Complaint: A 17-year-old young presented for treatment desiring to improve his smile. He has gone for several dental consultations. Only ad-hoc treatments were received. He is aware of his condition since his older brother has untreated hypodontia with ectodermal dysplasia. He is looking forward to a definitive dental treatment. He was not sure what was done before. The shape and color of the restored deciduous teeth were unfavourable . He can’t really chew with his upper denture.

An almost anodontia case, he has only one permanent molar. Commonly associated with a genetic disorder commonly defined as the absence of all teeth, and is extremely rarely encountered in a pure form without any associated abnormalities. Rare but more common than complete anodontia are hypodontia and oligodontia. Hypodontia is genetic in origin and usually involves the absence of from 1 to 6 teeth. Oligodontia is genetic as well and is the term most commonly used to describe conditions in which more than six teeth are missing. He has 31 permanent teeth missing.
