The Smile Design Implementation
Course Overview:
A beginner hands-on workshop . It is that consists of how to use photos on keynotes. How to use digital ruler in every important dimension. Participants must know how to use a Mac computer and familiar with dental photography.
We will emphasis on the important issues only . This course is suitable for those who have attended DSD lectures but not be able to practice after that.
If applied properly, Digital Smile Design (DSD) is able to strengthens clinician skills as Smile Designers, better performing extraoral and intraoral esthetic diagnosis and structural evaluation, which gives clinicians the tools and language they need to communicate more effectively with the other members of the treatment team. DSD also allows clinicians to educate and motivate their patients, enhance their patients’ visual perception, and ultimately increase case acceptance. The course will present a full demonstration of the DSD protocol on a live patient and the complete digital workflow.
The main objectives of this course is to show clinicians and their teams: How to become a better smile designer, because smile design is the primary principle of any a treatment plan (Facially generated Tx Plan). How to implement a realistic team communication protocol, because communication is the key to genuine functional interdisciplinary dentistry. How to interact with your patients to enhance the value of their treatment and increase case acceptance through the new concept of emotional dentistry.How to link the beautiful smile design process to the actual treatment using a simple and effective digital workflow that will connect the 2D drawings of DSD to 3D software systems (ie, CAD/CAM, 3D orthodontics, and guided surgery). All of these concepts will be demonstrated on actual patients, live in my clinic showing all the steps that can help clinician to practice in their own space after the course.
